$30x35=$1050/week
$1050x50=$52,500/year
$1,000,000/$52,500=19.0476 years
It will take 19 years to earn a million dollars.

$1,000,000* (1 hr/ $30)* (1 week/ 35 hours)* (1 year/ 50 weeks)= 19 years.
(Note that the units cancel out and you get the answer)
It takes 19 years to earn a million dollars
