divide the top and bottom by 3 (since it is the GCF of 3 and 9) to reduce the fraction
3/3=1
9/3=3
answer: 1/3

the answer for 3/9 in simplest for is 1/3. you have to find the common number an that is is 3 so divide 3/3 which is 1 and 9/3 which is 3
