b+g=400
b/g=3:2 =>b=3/2*g
3/2g+g=400 => 5/2 g=400 => g=2*400/5=2*80=160
b=3/2*160=3*80=240

3+2 = 5

400/5 = 80

80 * 3 = 240

240 boys, and 160 girls.
