Lets find the unit rate by setting up a proportion.

120/5 = x/1

Cross multiply

120*1 = 120
5*x = 5x

5x = 120 Divide both sides by 5.

5x/5 = 120/5
x = 120/5 Divide

x= 24 Final answer

Final answer: The unit rate is 24 problems per hour.

To find this we need to divide the amount of problems to the amount of hours. The answer will be how many problems in an hour. Lets do it:-

120 ÷ 5 = 24
24 problems per hour

CHECK OUR WORK:-

24 × 5 = 120
We were RIGHT!!

So, the unit rate to this is 24 problems per hour.

Hope I helped ya!!
