The following equations are solved in terms of x:
a) 2x - 3 = y
2x = y + 3
x = (1/2)y + 3/2

b) 2 + 2x - 1 = 4y
2x - 1 = 4y
2x = 4y + 1
x = 2y + 1/2

c) 2A + 4x + 3B = 10
4x = 10 - 2A - 3B
x = 5/2 - (1/2)A - (3/4)B
