⇒ 2x+ 2*8 -5x= 6
⇒ (2x -5x)+ 16= 6
⇒ -3x = 6 -16
⇒ -3x = -10
⇒ x= -10/(-3)
⇒ x= 10/3
⇒ x= 3 1/3

The correct answer is B. 3 1/3~
