5.43 mol NaOH* (40 g NaOH/ 1 mol NaOH)= 2.17*10^2 g NaOH.
There is 2.17*10^2 g NaOH in 5.43 mol NaOH

well first you need the chemical formula, which is NaOH. using that, you need to find the molar mass (which is 39.997 grams). since there are 39.997 grams NaOH in one mol, you multiply 39.997•5.43 to figure out how many grams NaOH are in 5.43 mols.
