Jason has 7 puzzles and Quincy has the same number of puzzles as Jason does. That means Quincy also has 7 puzzles.

7 (Jason's) puzzles+ 7 (Quincy's) puzzles= 14 puzzles.

They have 14 puzzles altogether~
