How do you add fractions wiyh improper fractions

The same way you do with proper ones . . . put them over a common denominator, and then add the new numerators.

You add them the same way you do with proper fractions. Make sure they have common denominators and add the numerators.

Example:


(3)/(2) + (4)/(3)


(3*3)/(2*3) + (4*2)/(3*2)


(9)/(6) + (8)/(6)


(9+8)/(6)


(17)/(6)
