if you want to know how much is the price for 180 ears you can say :
4$/12 = ?/180 ⇒ ? = 180 * 4 /12 = 60 $ :))

To answer this first we set up a proportion and then solve. Lets do it:-
Cross Multiply:-
80 · 4 = 320
Divide:-
420 ÷ 12 = 60
So, 180 ears of corn are for
$60.
