What conditions were present in the U.S after world war 1?

America was the one to provide much of the food for the Western European Countries. World War 1 REALLY didn't contribute to the American Great Depression. That had more to do with the Stock market crashing and poor economic decisions made by the United States Federal Government. However WWI did effect American Farmers who were used to producing food for the war effort. We also felt a strong need for isolationism, due to the fact so many lifes were lost. (U.S. deaths totaled 116,516)
