5 percent of the cars in the parking lot are red. If 16 cars in the parking lot were red, how many cars are in the parking lot?

I would always find a way to make 10% or 1% because it become simple then
5 percent of the cars in the parking lot are red. If 16 cars in the parking lot were-example-1

5%*x=red
red=16
5\100*x=16 => x=100*16\5=20*16=320 cars
