After 2 years: x=2
v(2)= 25,000(0.86)^2= 18,490
After 3 years: x=3
v(3)= 25,000(0.86)^3= 15,901.4
18,490 - 15,901.4= 2,588.6
Rounded to the nearest dollar, the answer is
(1) 2589
dollars.
Hope this helps~
