What strategy does Percy use to beat Areas

This was what happened;
Percy angered Areas and then he used his anger to alert the mortal police who rushed to the scene and caused Areas to flee because they thought Areas was a criminal. He was angered because percy kept on teasing him. He got easily angered because he is the god of war, so his emotions are bi-polar. Hope i helped. Have a nice day.

In the Lightning Thief,Percy waited in the sea and when Ares approched, Percy let out the wave and stabbed Ares in the leg while the wave was on Ares.This book is good but the movie is better.
