Close the window quickly! is the word Close transitive or intransitive?

The word "close" is a transitive verb because it has a direct object, which is window.

It's transitive!

Transitive verbs can take objects, and here "window" is an object.

Other examples of transitive verbs are "read", as in " read the book".

Intransitive verbs cant take objects, for example: sleep, dream, sit. : you can't say "sleep something" quickly.!
