when the question says translated right or left means is translating on x axis but if the question says up or down means is translating on y axis so in this question the point ( 2,4 ) is translated 3 right so we should add 3 to x and x is 2 so we have : 2 +3 =5 so the new x is 5 and our new point is: ( 5 , 4 ) :)))
