Ellie has 4 quarters for every 5 pennies in her change purse. How many pennies would she have if she has 16 quarters?

(4 quarters)/(5 pennies) = (16 quarters)/(x pennies) \\ (4quarters*4=16quarters)/(5pennies*4=20pennies)
The answer is fifteen pennies, because 16/4 is 4, so you multiply 5 by 4 to get 20. Hope this helps!

Sh would have 20 pennies because for every 5 pennies there 4 quarters so , if she has 16 quarters she would have 20 pennies
