let's write it first:

2+
(3)/(4)+
(3)/(x)=2
(5)/(8)

let's substract 2 from both sides

(3)/(4)+
(3)/(x)=
(5)/(8)

and let's substract
(3)/(4) from both sides too

(3)/(x)=
(5)/(8)-
(3)/(4)

this is

(3)/(x)=
(5)/(8)-
(6)/(8)

(3)/(x)=
(-1)/(8)

let's multiply by x:
3=
(-1x)/(8)

and by8:
24=-x
x=24
that means that the question mark is -24!!!!
