2x^2+ 9x=-5 \\ \\2x^2 + 9x+5 =0 \\\\a=2, \ \ b=9 , \ \ c=5 \\\\\Delta =b^2-4ac = 9^2 -4\cdot 2\cdot 5 = 81-40=41 \\ \\x_(1)=(-b-√(\Delta) )/(2a)=(-9-√(41))/(2\cdot 2 )=(-9-√(41))/( 4 )\\\\ x_(2)=(-b+√(\Delta) )/(2a)=(-9+√(41))/(2\cdot 2 )=(-9+√(41))/(4 )
