Every time you add a topping, the cost increases by $2.
So the slope is $2 per topping.

C = 2t so far

-- But that can't be the whole equation.
If it were the whole equation, then the cost of a pizza
with no toppings would be zero.
The cost of a pizza with no toppings is actually $8 ,
so the whole equation is

C = 2t + 8 .
