so for this question we have 12 wall in 14 hours and we want to know 1 wall in how many hours so you can say 14 /12 = ?/1 ⇒ ? ? = ( 1×14 )/12 =14 /12 = 1.166

To answer this we will find the unit rate. To find the unit rate we will set up a proportion:-
♥1 × 14 = 14
♥ 14 ÷ 12 =
1.166.....
So, in 1 hour
1.166.....
walls can be painted.
