I personally think that that this is true because having high self esteem is a good thing and it makes you believe in yourself which means that you won't let yourself down which leads you to live a more fulfilling and a happy life which also leads later in life to have better relationships which means that tou will always believe in yoirself and keep your relationship strong.

Because having a high self esteem gives us the confidence for ourselves and do not makes us insecure in any aspects.
