Answer: 2.0 pounds

Explanation:

Total pounds of candy bought = 8.25

Candies that are red = 2.5

Candies that are blue = 3.75

Candies that are white willbthen be:

Total pounds bought - (Red + Blue)

= 8.25 - (2.5 + 3.75)

= 8.25 - 6.25
