If you would like to know how man of the events are track events, you can calculate this using the following two steps:

Divide 22 in the ratio of 8 : 3.
First, add the numbers: 8 + 3 = 11
Second, divide and multiply: 8 / 11 * 22 = 16
3 / 11 * 22 = 6
16 track events : 6 field events

Result: There are 16 track events.

16 track events and 6 field events.

8:3:11=a:b:22

8 track events for every 3 field events, 11 events in total. Multiply the first set of ratios by 2 to get the answer.

8:3:11=16:6:22

I hope you understood what I'm trying to explain ☺
