. How would we place the decimal point when we multiply 3.7 x 5.1
Notice that the decimal point is place between the tenths place and ones place of the digit.
And we have only ones and tenths value in the given numbers: Let’s start multiplying both given to determine where will be the decimal point be placed:
=> 3.7 x 5.1 = 18.87
Notice the value of our product.
WE now have 4 digits, 2 in the whole number place and 2 in the decimal place.
