`(6x1)/(3)` is the same thing as 2, so that expression is less than 6. 6 is being divided by a number greater than 1 so of course it's going to be less than 6

`(1)/(4)` and
`(2)/(8)` are the same thing. If you simplify
`(2)/(8)` you get
