Things to do :

#
Simplify the expression

Things to remember:

# Remember that signs in bracket after the 'minus' sign change to the opposite sign
like, if it was '-' then it will be changed to '+'
and, if it was '+' then it will be changed to '-'

Solutions :

13+(-12)-(-5)

=
13-12+5

=
13-7

=
6

or,

13+(-12)-(-5)

=
13-12+5

=
13+5-12

=
18-12

=
6
