Do penguins have knees?

Yes. Penguins do have knees.

A penguin's leg is composed of a short femur, knees, tibia, and fibula.
It may seem that penguin's don't have knees when they waddle. This is because the upper leg bones of penguins are covered by its feathers, making it appear as though they have very short legs.
