An animal that has body parts that are arranged around a central point is radially symmetrical. The body of the animal is generally in the shape of a circle or a cylinder. If you draw a line from one side of the animal through the centre and to the other side, you will divide the body of the animal in half. A good example is of a radially symmetrical animal is a starfish. A starfish has all its body parts in the centre of its body, with its arms/tentacles radiating out from the centre of its body.
