An individual who sustains responsibilities, benefits, and rights in a state is known as a citizen.

A citizen of a country is recognized as a constitutionally sanctioned subject or sovereign of a country, either inherited or accustomed. All residents are allowed to express preferences and hold functions and competencies which point to be described in the Constitution. For example, power and accountability as a subject to choose and elect their delegates.
