The correct answer is Fearful. Although the conspirators considered themselves as liberators, they weren't acknowledged as such at first. The people considered Caesar's death to be similar to a doomsday, and that they wouldn't know how to go on from there. Mass hysteria ensued, emotional outbursts, crying in fear and hiding in their homes.
