Why must a cell that needs to divide follow the sequence of the events of the cell cycle (G1-S-G2-M-C)?

a. If the sequence were changed or a stage skipped, the cell would quickly die due to the toxins created.
b. If the sequence were changed or a stage skipped, the cell would divide uncontrollably.
c. If the sequence were changed or a stage skipped, the cell would lack the material and energy to divide.
d. If the sequence were changed or a stage skipped, the cell would turn into a different kind of cell.

C) the phases are there for the cell to grow and mature properly ( much like a human) - if they don’t grow properly they won’t be able to reproduce.
