Divide each given numbers
=> 75 / 10
=> 7.5 (7 ones . 5 tenths)
=> 75 / 100
=> .75 (. 7 tenths and 5 hundredths)
=> 75 / 1 000
=> .075 (. 0 tenths, 7 hundredths and 5 thousandths.)
As the place value of the divisor gets larger the decimal point moves to the right and the value of the quotient gets smaller and smaller.
If we do the opposite, the same thing will happen as the multiplier gets larger the product gets bigger.
