so first find 25%
PERCENT means parts out of 100 so
25%=25/100=5/20=1/4
1/4 of 84
'of' means multiply
1/4 tmes 84=84/4=42/2=21/1=21
84-21=63
cuts the remianing into 6
63/6=10 and 3/6=10 and 1/2
each peace is 10 and 1/2 cm long
