Why were electrification were the most important advancements and who was responsible for these advances and how they affected 20th century life. Please in your own word and 6 sentence and thank you

Electrification is the cause of electricity. Electrification actually means "The Greatest Engineering Achievement of the 20th Century". I know it sounds a bit slow, but once you understand it'll make perfect sense. Two people actually invented this, Joseph Swan and Thomas Edison but different years. Joseph invented it in 1878 in Britain and Thomas invented it in 1879 in the U.S. They change it because now there is light. Light is very important. Some might not agree but trust me on this one. Joseph Swan also invented the dry photographic plate.
