One side of a triangle is 4 cm shorter than the base, x. The other side is 3 cm longer than the base. What lengths of the base will allow the perimeter of the triangle to be at least 29 cm? Write your answer as an Inequality.

So the base is X cm, one side is X+4 cm and the last side is X+3 cm. We know that all those sides combined need to be at least 29cm. This gives us 3X + 7 > 29cm. If we solve this, we get 3X > 22cm which means X > 22/3 which means X is bigger than 7 1/3 cm
