We are to find the volume of the given pyramid;


\text{Volume = }\frac{base\text{ area X height}}{3}
\begin{gathered} \text{Length of the base square = 8 yd.} \\ \text{height of the pyramid = 3 yd.} \end{gathered}

The volume of the pyramid is;


(8X8X3)/(3)=64yd.^3

CONCLUSION:

The volume of the given pyramid is 64 cubic yards.
