Is 1/3 a terminating decimal

A terminating decimal is a decimal that STOPS, meaning it doesn't go on forever.

So, we will divide and see.

1 ÷ 3 = 0.3333333............

So NO this is NOT a terminating decimal, but a repeating decimal.
