the equation for the circumference of a circle is 2
\pir so this is just asking you to solve for r. if we plug in 3.14 and 17, we get 17=2(3.14)r. Now we simply solve for r. To do this we multiply 2 with 3.14 to get 17=6.28r. Now we divide both sides by 6.28 to get r to equal about 2.707, and if we round this we get r=2.7 mm (don't forget to label)

the right answer is 2.7 because 2*3.14=6.28 and 17/6.28=2.70
