First, set up a proportion. Do 5/100=x/225. 5 times 225 is 1,125. 1,125 divided by 100 is 11.25. YOUR ANSWER IS 11.25

, you can calculate this using the following steps:
x = 5% of 225
x = 5/100 * 225
x = 11.25
Result:
