Chloroplasts are located in the cytoplasm of plant cells (and more commonly in the palisade cell layer).

Chloroplasts are organelles found in plant cells that conduct photosynthesis. they capture light energy to conserve free energy in the form of ATP through a complex set of processes called photosynthesis
