if G (gabriella) has 4 times as many as L (leona) then you would have G=4L when L=8, so Gabriella would have 32 erasers

Answer:

We take G, which is the same as 4L For times Leona. Then, we need to find the value of Leona: Leona value is 8

Therefore, 4 x 8 = 32

Gabriella has 32 erasers.

Explanation:

Let's do this very simply.

First, Gabriella has 4 times the number of erasers Leona has. So we will use letters and numbers to represent the amount of Leona erasers. So:

Gabriella= G Leona= L

L=8 and G=4L

After everything is simplified we have to figure out what to do.

We could have just went to multiply 4 by 8 but that way I would not have shown you a way to solve similar problems.
