Question

There was a red screen on my computer that said "VIRUS DETECTED. IF YOU X OUT THIS TAB, THEN YOUR HARD DRIVE WILL BE DELETED." What does that mean, should I off xed the tab out, I shut down my computer when i saw that...so will anything happen to my computer? IS THE VIRUS STILL THERE????

AND LAST.....WHAT DOES A VIRUS HAVE TO DO WITH HARD DRIVE? AND WHAT DOES A VIRUS AFFECT? HOW WILL IT AFFECT MY COMPUTER?

I think that might have been just a scam from the internet. Viruses can make your computer act slow or other things like that. You should get your computer scanned for viruses.If you're really worried about viruses there's a program for it and it keeps your computer safe it's called Norton Antivirus but it costs.
