Let us assume the first odd number = x
Then the second consecutive odd number = x + 2
The third consecutive odd number = x + 4
The addition of the three consecutive odd numbers = 75
Then we can write the equation as
x + x + 2 + x + 4 = 75
3x + 6 = 75
3x = 75 - 6
3x = 69
x = 69/3
= 23
Then
The greatest odd number in the question = X + 4
= 23 + 4
= 27
So the greatest odd number in the question is 27.
