So, our equation for company A would be


0.35+0.3x

our equation for company B would be


0.45+0.2x

so, our equation becomes


0.35+0.3x=0.45+0.2x\\\\0.3x-0.2x=0.45-0.35\\\\0.1x=0.10\\\\x=(0.10)/(0.1)\\\\x=1
