Answer=19.05% decrease
42 birds 34 birds
___________=__________
100percent x percent
cross multiply
42x=3400
divide both sides by 42
x=80.95 percent
The inventory in 2011 is 80.95% the inventory in 2010
100-80.95=19.05% decrease
