71.4 x (1 mol / 47.9 g) = 1.49 mol

Answer=1.49 mol Ti

Remember that there are 47.87g of Titanium in one mol.

71.46g Ti 1 mol Ti
________ x _________= 1.49 mol Ti
1 47.87g Ti

**Note:since there are grams in both the numerator and the denominator of the equation, they cancel each other out.
