Power dissipated = energy/second= (current)² x (resistance)
Power dissipated = energy / second = (4)² x (60) = 960 joules per second= 960 watts
Energy = (power) x (time) = (960 watts) x (2 minutes) x (60 sec/minute)
=
115,200 joules
