Early Greeks settled A. ALONG COASTS AND RIVER VALLEYS.

Greece is covered in mountains and with few flat areas available to use as farmlands, people settled on flat areas found along coasts and river valleys. Their villages and towns were separated by mountains and seas so the communities were isolated from one another. This resulted to each community having their own government and ways of life.
