I can't answer all of this, but I'll explain some things to you.
Ratios are when you compare something to another thing.
There are 5 kids playing tag, 4 kids playing soccer, and 3 kids on the swings. What is the ratio of kids playing tag to all the kids playing outside?
- The answer HAS to be in a specific order. In this, it's tag to everyone. Would you still count the kids playing tag? YES!
- Now, let's answer the question. First, lets count all the kids. We would do 5+4+3. That equals 12. So, we do 5 to 12.
To find the area...
- To find the area of a figure, you multiply its height by its width. So, a rectangle with 23 height and 4 width would be...that's right! 92!
To find perimeter...
- Add up all the sides! If a rectangle has one side that has 24, 21, 23, and 20, you just add up all those numbers, and wham bam, you have the perimeter!
Last, but not least, volume...
- To find volume, find out the radius, and height. We use the volume formula length times width times height. And we can use multiplication to help us out.
Hope this helps!
